Why Concrete?

Built to Last. Built Your Way.

Solid Rock builds exclusively with gunite concrete — the same material used in commercial aquatic facilities and high-end resort pools. It's stronger, more customizable, and outlasts any fiberglass alternative.

  • Any shape, depth, or size — no mold limitations
  • Easily integrates spas, water features, and sun shelves
  • 50+ year lifespan with proper maintenance
  • Higher resale value vs. fiberglass or vinyl liner pools

FAQ

Common Questions

A typical custom pool build takes 8–14 weeks from permit approval to fill. Factors like weather, permit timelines, and project complexity can affect the schedule. We'll give you a detailed timeline at your consultation.

Most Georgia counties require a building permit, electrical permit, and sometimes a zoning review. Solid Rock handles all permit applications as part of the build process — you don't have to navigate that yourself.

We build custom concrete (gunite) pools in any shape or style — free form, geometric, infinity edge, plunge pools, and inground swim spas. We do not build above-ground or fiberglass pools.

Concrete pools are fully custom — any shape, depth, or feature you want. They're more durable, easier to customize with water features and integrated spas, and typically hold their value better than fiberglass shells.

Yes — Solid Rock is a full turnkey service. We can design and build the pool, patio, retaining walls, lighting, and landscaping all in one project so you deal with one contractor, not five.
